Okay. So you probably think I'm only going to post all of these expensive restaurants. This one is actually a cheap gem. Oh! Taisho in the East Village is quite a find. You can get a very good meal for a very cheap price. The downfall? You will keep on ordering until your bill gets high. But seriously, the eel/egg dish is awesome. The yakitori selection is quite extensive. You can order beef tongue to chicken liver - which are awesome btw.This place is located in the East Village - on St. Marks Pl. close to 3rd ave.
